These series of paintings have been painted by my brother, my boyfriend (who I am in quarantine with) and I during the beginning stages of the quarantine. I had found the small wooden tiles from the streets that had initially been used for a CD bookshelf, and decided to bring them home and make paintings. We attempted to make one painting per day, resulting in a two week period of painting, eventually building up a stack of paintings which we later placed back into the CD bookshelf.
The paintings were made usually after a long day, reflecting on the things that had been occupying most in our heads of that day. It was interesting to paint with other people, as the more we did so, the more similar symbols and images we depicted.
